# Manage projects

Projects are the **main units of collaboration** in Cleyrop.

Each project includes:

* some **members** (individual users or groups),
* datasets and dataflows,
* a Work Data storage space,
* dashboards,
* and an **owner** who oversees its governance.

## Creation and governance

The **Platform Managers** are the only ones who can create a project from the administration panel.

During creation, they define:

* the project name,
* the owner (primary owner),
* the project description,
* and the initial members

## Project lifecycle

The**addition of a member to a project** gives them access to all the **resources** of the project, to the **sensitive/restricted datasets** in the library.

* Creation → active project, visible to members.
* Update → adding or removing members, modifying metadata.
* Deletion → permanent deletion of the project and all associated resources (datasets, notebooks, dashboards).
