# Generate documents

The Druide can generate office documents from your exchanges: report **Word**, presentation **PowerPoint**, **PDF** or file **Markdown**. Describe the desired document in natural language, preview it and download it directly from the conversation.

## Generate a document from a conversation

Document generation turns an analysis, a summary or content produced in Le Druide into a ready-to-use file.

1. Open a conversation in **Le Druide**.
2. Formulate your request in natural language by specifying the **desired format** (Word, PDF, PowerPoint or Markdown). 
3. Provide the **context** to use if necessary: data, source text or expected structure.
4. **Preview** the generated document directly in the conversation.
5. **Comment on** the generated document and then send your feedback to Druide so it can produce a new corrected version.
6. **Download** the file.

A Cleyrop template is applied by default. The use of a custom template will be available in a future version.

The comment can be **general** or concern a **specific passage** of the document.

Each iteration creates a new version; previous versions remain accessible.

## Best practices

* Specify the format and expected structure (number of slides, sections) for a more faithful result.
* Provide clear context (data or source text) rather than a vague request.
* Always check the document in preview before downloading it.
