# Manage projects

Create and administer collaborative spaces bringing together users, datasets, and corpora.

Projects are the **main units of collaboration** in Cleyrop.

Each project brings together:

* some **members** (individual users or groups),
* datasets and dataflows,
* a Work Data storage space,
* and a **owner** who ensures its governance.

## Creation and governance

The **Platform Managers** are the only ones who can create a project from the administration panel.

During creation, they define:

* the project name,
* the owner (main owner),
* the project description,
* and the initial members

## Project lifecycle

The **addition of a member to a project** gives it access to all the **resources** of the project, to the **sensitive/restricted datasets** in the library.

* Creation → active project, visible to members.
* Update → addition or removal of members, modification of metadata.
* Deletion → permanent deletion of the project and all associated resources (datasets, notebooks, corpora, Agents).
