# Explore datasets

Search and discover the metadata of the library's Datasets

You can search for a Dataset in the catalog by entering one or more keywords in the search bar or by using the filters: sensitivity, classification, distribution (from the catalog, published in the catalog, only in the project), Status, Origin (Datasource connector type), Refresh mode, Refresh frequency

For each Dataset you can open the Dataset record to see its details:

* **Metadata** : sensitivity, classification, description ....
* **Schema** : columns and types
* **Preview**
* **Refresh** : History of all Dataset refreshes. you can open each refresh to see the details:
  * Information: trigger, duration, date, status
  * Execution logs
  * Number of rows and columns in output
* **Quality:** list of Data Quality rules

## Possible actions on a Dataset

It is possible from this list or the Dataset record to perform the following actions:

* **Subscribe to the Dataset** : be notified in case of refresh failure or alerts from Data Quality rules
* **Export** : to export as csv
* **Edit / delete**
* **Publish to catalog**

{% hint style="warning" %}
The permissions to perform these actions depend on the role in the project and on the resource
