# Secure chat

Chat in natural language with a sovereign AI, directly from the platform.

**The Druid** is at the heart of the Cleyrop experience.

Accessible from the platform's main bar, it allows every user, whether analyst, business owner, or data expert, to **converse in natural language**, generate AI-assisted content, perform tasks, and activate the artificial intelligence tools available in their environment.

Unlike a consumer chatbot, The Druid is a chat **secure and sovereign** :

* no data is transferred outside Europe
* no content is used to train the models
* and all interactions comply with internal privacy and governance policies

## Exchange smoothly and securely

The Druid understands your questions in context and can analyze your **files**. You can attach files directly in the conversation via the 📎 button. Supported formats are: PDF, DOCX, PPTX, TXT, XLSX, CSV, TSV, and JSON. Files attached in a Druid conversation are automatically deleted after **24 hours**.

* Excel files (`.xlsx`) are read sheet by sheet, with the calculated values of formulas; you can query a sheet by its name. The old format `.xls` is not accepted.
* Data files (`.csv`, `.tsv`, `.xlsx`) are limited to 50 MB.
* Other documents are limited by their text volume, counted in *tokens* (one token represents a few characters): **120,000 tokens per file** and **130,000 tokens for all attachments in a conversation**. This limit is cumulative across the entire conversation and does not depend on file size. A clear message is displayed when it is exceeded: open a new conversation to start from scratch or, to work on a large volume of documents, create a [corpora](/docs/v4.7-en/data-and-ai-project/corpus-de-documents.md) and query it with the Tool **Cleyrop Corpus**.
* For a Word file (`.docx`), only the text of the paragraphs is read: the contents of the **tables**, the **headers** and the **footers** is not taken into account in responses. Put the information found there back into the body of the document.

{% hint style="info" %}
This cleanup policy applies only to attachments sent in the conversation thread. It does not apply to documents indexed in a corpus or in an agent. If you need to reuse a file, remember to attach it again in each session.
{% endhint %}

Your exchanges are kept in your **history** so you can pick up a conversation where you left off. You can **rename** or **delete** a conversation via the associated ⋯ menu.

All responses are produced in a **sovereign framework**, with no data transfer to external services.

## What you can do with The Druid

* **Chat and write** : ask questions, summarize, rephrase, translate, and produce an email or a note from your exchanges.
* **Query your documents** : attach files to the conversation (see above) or query a **corpora** project document corpus with the Tool **Cleyrop Corpus** → [Query a corpus of documents](/docs/v4.7-en/le-druide/interroger-un-corpus-de-documents.md)
* **Query your data and generate charts** : query a dataset in natural language with the Tool **Cleyrop Dataset**, download the result, display it as bar, line, pie, or scatter plot → [Query datasets](/docs/v4.7-en/le-druide/interroger-des-datasets.md)
* **Generate documents** : produce a Word report, a PowerPoint presentation, a PDF, or a Markdown file, improve it with comments, and export it with your own *template* → [Generate documents](/docs/v4.7-en/le-druide/generer-des-documents.md)
* **Use the Tools created by your colleagues and the Agents** : activate the Tools deployed in The Factory, use a specialized Agent shared with you, or create your own → [Use Agents and Tools](/docs/v4.7-en/le-druide/utiliser-les-agents-et-les-tools.md)
* **Search the internet** : launch a secure online search with the Tool **Cleyrop Internet** to enrich an answer.
* **Access applications** in your environment from the **Applications** (see below).

## Access applications

The Druid gives access to an application catalog directly from its side menu, via the **Applications**.

This view brings together all the apps available in your environment: Cleyrop tools, business applications, document generation tools, specialized assistants, etc. A search bar lets you quickly find an application by name.

Click on a card to open the application directly from the Druid.

{% hint style="info" %}
The applications displayed are those deployed and accessible in your environment. They are created and managed from The Factory.
